It's now been 2 months with Claire, and we've got a pretty good handle on what works and what doesn't. More like what she likes and doesn't like, lol. We got most of the gifts we registered for at the baby shower and then some after her birth. So we were in great shape and had pretty much everything we needed when we brought her home from the hospital.

Sweatpants, wine and cooking with a chatty baby on my hip. That's how we will most likely spend our Valentine's Day night this year. Since we are transplants here in Kansas City, we don't have any family or friends to watch Claire in order to go out and have a date night. However, a night hanging around cooking a delicious (most likely Italian) meal with a bottle of wine sounds really nice.

BABY November 27, 201837 Weeks Pregnant
So we are officially in the home stretch - 37 weeks pregnant! I can't believe my due date is just three weeks away. We are so beyond excited to meet our little girl, to hold her and see what she looks like. I anticipate that these last weeks are going to feel slow, so I'm going to try and just relax and prep for her arrival. These are our last few weeks as a family of three, so Pete and I (and Woody!) are spending a lot of quality time together as well.
