I originally planned on writing a post sharing my top Mother’s Day gift ideas. However, my blogging time is limited these days and you’ve probably seen a million other product roundup posts from bloggers. Instead, I wanted to highlight one item that would make any mom’s day, from a brand I love.
This article was originally written for and posted on The Everymom. My feeding journey has not been easy and has been an emotional rollercoaster. I hope that by sharing my story I can help ease the stress and self doubt other moms in a similar situation might be feeling. Ever since I was a teenager,…
In celebration of International Women’s Day, I’m sharing one of my favorite female founded brands that serves all women on a wardrobe staple.
2018 was a WILD ride of a year for Pete and I. We renovated our kitchen in New Jersey, found out we were pregnant, moved cross country to Kansas City, I left my job, and we had a baby. In the middle of all this, I started my blog. For years I have been wanting to express my creativity and passion for inspiration, but always told myself no one would really care ….
It’s now been 2 months with Claire, and we’ve got a pretty good handle on what works and what doesn’t. More like what she likes and doesn’t like, lol. We got most of the gifts we registered for at the baby shower and then some after her birth. So we were in great shape and had pretty much everything we needed when we brought her home from the hospital.
Sweatpants, wine and cooking with a chatty baby on my hip. That’s how we will most likely spend our Valentine’s Day night this year. Since we are transplants here in Kansas City, we don’t have any family or friends to watch Claire in order to go out and have a date night. However, a night hanging around cooking a delicious (most likely Italian) meal with a bottle of wine sounds really nice.
I can’t believe our girl is already one month old! Actually, as I write this, she is 7 weeks. But I wanted to get a post up sharing the first month with our little girl. And like her birth story post, I’m going to keep it real and unfiltered for you all.
Hello friends! I’ve missed you all. I’ve been wanting to write this for a while now, but with having a newborn, it’s hard to find a free moment! As I start writing this, I’m lucky to have my mom here to give me a little bit of freedom to blog. The past 7 weeks have been an amazing whirlwind of love, learning, crying (Claire AND me) and laughter.
One of my all time favorite combos as a neutral lover: black and camel. It’s classic, sophisticated and feminine without being girly. All things I try to achieve in my personal style on the daily. It’s also a combo that can be styled year round with just different types of pieces.
With less than two weeks to my due date, I wanted to make sure my hospital bag was mostly packed and ready to go. The doctor said it could pretty much happen at any time now! I’m someone who likes to be prepared and organized in advance for trips, events, etc. So what will probably be the biggest event of my life is no exception. Of course I wanted to write a post so that all my currently pregnant mamas and ladies out there trying to conceive can use this as checklist when their time comes. So here goes!
